What is a hammock?

A hammock is a lightweight and easy-to-carry sleeping gear for wilderness activities, and the material used to make the hammock is usually tied to a tree. It is divided into cloth hammock and rope net hammock according to the material used for manufacturing. Cloth hammocks are usually made of thin canvas or nylon cloth sewn together, while rope hammocks are usually made of woven cotton or nylon rope. Rope net hammocks are especially suitable in tropical jungles and hot summers, while cloth hammocks are more widely applicable and can be used in all seasons except for cold areas and winter. Hammocks are mainly used as a sleeping tool for people traveling or for leisure time.
